Tania Salloum

Tania is a seasoned Clinical Dietitian with a proven track record in the hospital and healthcare industry. She possesses expertise in Health Promotion, Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, and Medical Nutrition Therapy. Tania earned her BS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University, completing her internship at the American University Medical Center. Additionally, she holds a Dual Degree and Masters in International Business from Bordeaux Management School-France, along with an MBA from Notre Dame University.

Commencing her career as a clinical dietitian at St. Georges Hospital University Medical Center, Tania has worked across diverse units, including pediatrics, cardiac care, coronary care, intensive care, oncology (adult and pediatric), geriatrics, maternity, medicine, bariatric surgery, general surgery, neurology, and psychiatry. She actively contributed to the production unit, introducing new menus, standardized recipes, supervising kitchen staff, and implementing HACCP principles.

In her role as a specialist Dietitian, Tania provides expert advice on healthy eating for weight loss, collaborating with international chefs on innovative menus, recipes, healthy cooking techniques, and hygiene standards.

Over the years, Tania participated in two significant studies: The Nutricheq Study, in collaboration with Danone and Nutricia, measuring FE, Ca, and Mg intake in children aged 1-3, and The IDOS study (International Diabetes Outcome Study) in partnership with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, exploring the impact of Medical Nutrition Therapy on blood parameters in diabetic patients.

Currently, Tania serves as a clinical dietitian at a polyclinic and is engaged with two online platforms: Cloud 9 Care and Drapp. She offers nutrition counseling for various cases, including weight loss (adults and children), bariatric surgeries, weight gain, diabetes, gestational diabetes, dyslipidemia, renal failure, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, Celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, gastrectomy, colectomy, eating disorders, pregnancy, and lactation.

Her extensive experience across diverse departments has equipped Tania with a broad spectrum of skills and knowledge, instilling confidence in her ability to tackle future challenges, contribute as an effective team member, think innovatively, and bring about positive change.
